Back on Track

I have been indulging a lot lately. Cookies, ice cream, muffins, tons of bread. If it was a carb or chock full of sugar there is a good chance it has been in my belly lately.

And that is not a problem with me. Yes I try to eat healthy most the time, but I will never limit myself when it comes to food or make any foods “forbidden.” I have always had a very healthy relationship with food and I plan on staying that way forever.

That being said I do feel like I need to get back into my normal eating routine. As much as I want 2 monster cookies to be my breakfast everyday, it’s probably not the best idea.

So this week I am dedicated to getting back onto my regular schedule, both workout wise and eating wise.

I started off the week well with a 4.5 mile run yesterday. It was a cool 70 degrees and I managed to average 8:44’s for the run, way faster than my hot runs of the summer. Maybe I am okay with this fall weather.

Today was a crazy day at work so I wasn’t able to do a workout there. Instead I came home and took Charlie on a nice long walk and then did my cheap girls version of yoga. I actually really enjoyed this video and will probably do it again.

I made myself a delicious turkey burger with feta cheese and a side of sweet potato fries for dinner.

And now I am craving some ice cream…I think this whole “eating less sweets” thing might take a while.

How do you get back on track?
